Course Overview:

Producing high-quality flexographic printing on corrugated substrates and Linerboard has always been a challenge. AICC’s new two-day course will focus on how to produce clean solids and line work, as well as halftones and spot colors by balancing classroom sessions and time on press. By this method, participants will have a deeper understanding of the concepts and gain experience building standard works. Participants will be able to take the practices learned back to their home plants, and machinery by the construction of standard operation procedures, one point lessons, and checklists.

Course Topics:

  • Best practices to produce high quality direct print on corrugated linerboard.
  • How to produce clean solids and line work, as well as halftones and spot colors by balancing classroom sessions and time on press.
  • Troubleshooting issues (from dot gain and die-cutting to proper graphic design for corrugated).
