The One-Page-Plan Approach to Growing & Managing Your Business
Member Knowledge Sharing by Coastal Container

Coastal Container is opening the playbook. In this knowledge-sharing session, Coastal Container will walk AICC members through its innovative One-Page Plan — a visual management tool designed to grow and manage a modern box plant with clarity, accountability, and purpose. Built from best practices across multiple industries, this system connects long-term vision to daily execution, all beginning with the human organization. At the core of the model: - A visual map that defines where the business is headed
- A clear vision planning strategy rooted in purpose and identity
- Structured quarterly planning that drives execution
- Discipline ownership by 12 managers, each accountable for results
- A team mindset: Together, we win.
The One-Page Plan starts with assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. It integrates sustainability through the lens of People, Planet, and Prosperity, and defines who the company aspires to be — market leaders, innovators, and relationship builders. This system has supported tremendous growth, including facility expansions, corrugator integration, expanded converting lines, and the addition of new team members from machine operators to managers. What could be overwhelming for many has been managed through intentional planning rhythms, visual alignment, and disciplined execution. This session will provide AICC members with a practical framework to align leadership, connect plant teams to purpose, and manage growth with clarity and confidence. If you are looking to scale your business while strengthening culture, communication, and accountability — this is a session you won’t want to miss.
