MacDermid Appoints Alicia Gibson as Global Strategic Marketing & Portfolio Manager

MacDermid Graphics Solutions (MGS), a division of MacDermid Performance Solutions (MPS), recently announced the appointment of Alicia Gibson as Global Strategic Marketing & Portfolio Manager. 

Alicia comes to MacDermid with over 15 years of specialty chemical and product management experience. Before joining MGS, Alicia served as Segment Marketing Manager, Carbonates for Imerys and previously, Marketing Manager for OCI Chemical’s soda ash and sodium percarbonate business, where she coordinated both marketing and technical service departments.

"Alicia’s extensive experience in managing new product development projects will be instrumental in her new role at MacDermid,” stated Melanie Galloway, Global SVP and GM for MGS. "She will also be tasked with working with the leadership team to further develop and implement the strategic marketing plan for MacDermid Graphics Solutions.”

Based in Atlanta, GA, Alicia’s role will focus on growth for MacDermid’s extensive product lines of printing plate technologies through the identification of market needs, new product development, and new product introduction.

Alicia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a certificate in Pulp & Paper Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, and an MBA from Queens University in Charlotte, NC.  She currently resides in Marietta, GA with her husband and daughter. Alicia will be located at the Graphics facility in Atlanta, GA, and will be reporting to Melanie Galloway, Global Senior Vice President of MGS.
