The Philadelphia Business Journal (4/23, Burdo, Subscription Publication) reports that Pratt Industries is investing $42 million in the expansion of a box manufacturing plant in Lower Macungie, Pennsylvania. According to the Journal, the investment “would lead to the creation of 90 more jobs at the Lower Macungie facility over the next few years,” and in addition “Pratt is planning to open a factory in Allentown, among others.” The article adds that “other expansion plans for Pratt include a new facility in Wapakoneta, Ohio at a cost of $1 billion.”
