Today, the European leader in corrugated packaging reaffirmed it was still not interested in International Paper Co.’s acquisition offer.
During its annual general meeting held Friday, May 4 in Dublin, Liam O’Mahony, chairman of Ireland-based Smurfit Kappa Group PLC, read a statement to attendees that recapped the two recent acquisition offers from International Paper (IP), both of which were rejected in March.
