Liberty Diversified Industries Great Gratitude Tour At AICC’s 2018 Spring Meeting in Phoenix, Liberty
Diversified Industries (LDI) and five other AICC members were presented a
"Member Milestone” plaque for achieving significant anniversary milestones in
business. LDI Chairman and CEO Mike
Fiterman made some very moving remarks on how several generations of his family
built his 100-year-old company and how
grateful he was for the opportunities that were given to his family members and
himself through the years.
Putting words into heartfelt actions, the Fitermans and LDI
team members have launched a movement called "Boxes of Gratitude.” If you visit
www.boxesofgratitude.com
you can share the things that you are grateful for in your life as well as to
see how LDI is sharing their gratitude through good works locally in the Twin
Cities area as well as nationwide.
From July 2 through July 20 LDI executives and team members
will take to the road on the Great Gratitude Tour to celebrate LDI’s 100th
anniversary with their message of gratitude.
LDI executives will be joining employees at their facilities throughout
the country to kickoff the next 100 years with volunteer opportunities and
random acts of gratitude in local communities along the way. As part of the tour, LDI will attempt to
break the Guinness Book World Record for the largest outpouring of gratitude
ever captured on a scroll of paper.
The Great Gratitude Tour comes to the Washington, D.C. area
on the 3rd and 4th of July. Two gratitude events are planned for the
benefit of Our Military Kids and Women in Military Service to America. AICC staff will join the latter program which
will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at the Women in Military Service to
America Museum and Memorial. This will
be followed by a dinner and a viewing of the Independence Day fireworks. AICC’s headquarters is in Alexandria, VA, a
short distance from Arlington. AICC
President Steve Young was pleased to accept LDI’s gracious invitation to share
in the program, the celebration and the gratitude. We will share pictures of the event in next
week’s inBox.
