 April 5, 2019

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Corrugated and Packaging and parent company U.S. Corrugated Holdings, Inc., has entered into a strategic alliance with Bio Pappel to integrate our strengths and increase regional presence and competitiveness for both companies in the US and Northwest Mexico.

As a result of this transaction, Bio Pappel’s Mexicali super-plant that is supported by a state of the art 98” BHS corrugator and ten converting machines will fall under operational control of Corrugated and Packaging effective April 5, 2019.

The consolidation of the Mexicali super-plant with C&P facilities in Tijuana is an important part of the combined company’s market strategy to grow our business. With this acquisition, C&P’s combined facilities in Tijuana and Mexicali will serve a wide range of consumer, agricultural and industrial markets with large scale die cuts, shipping cartons, large format boxes and high graphics.

Our investment into the facility will continue with the installation of a new 89” x 165” Latitude Jumbo 3 color Flexo-Folder-Gluer with a full inline die cut section that will be operational by mid-May 2019, coupled with new technology in the form of a Barberán Jetmaster sheet-fed digital press.

For our existing customers, this addition means you will benefit from additional resources that will now be available to your organization. For future clients, we look forward to introducing you to a customer-centric business – the most important being our commitment to putting customers first.

In summary, we look forward to continuing to provide best-in-class design, short lead time capability, high volume capacity and new cutting-edge technology.

We appreciate your constant support and look forward to continuing our mutual paths of growth and success.

Sincerely,

David Ortiz

Senior VP, Sales and Marketing
