At the recently held Annual Meeting of AICC, the independent packaging association, Packrite won in two categories of the Package Design Competition. Judged by a panel of industry peers, the biennial competition provides a platform for independent converters to showcase their creativity and innovation.
In the highly competitive “Best Corrugated Self Promotion” category Packrite took 1st Place for its SEALRITE™ fluted blister card. The piece demonstrates Packrite’s newest capability and its ability to offer a wide range of products to provide a complete design-to-fulfillment solution for their customers.
The SEALRITE fluted blister cards use a cohesive seal which quickly seals the product and poly membrane between the fluted backings. The cold process cohesive seal dramatically reduces production time resulting in faster turn-around and significant energy savings.
Tear tape, zipper perf can be easily designed into the packaging to eliminate wrap-rage and provide a safer, more secure experience for the end user.
In the “Best Use of Corrugated Replacing Other Substrates” category Honorable Mention was awarded to AQUARITE, a fully recyclable, bio-degradable, enviro-friendly replacement for CorrPlast and other forms of plastic-based exterior signage.
In addition to its superior weather resistance, AQUARITE offers excellent printing characteristics and outstanding strength, durability and flatness. The double-side coated, triple bleached paperboard provides two superb printing surfaces making it a perfect choice for bi-directional signage.
