RISI reports that U.S. pulp markets became a mostly tariff-free zone as 15% tariffs on pulp imports from Europe and 10% on those from Latin America were waived. President Donald Trump issued an Executive Order on September 5 exempting a broad list of products including market pulp from import tariffs. These exemptions were effective Monday September 8.
